Please find attached a letter stating the fish counter results are unverified. In the castlmaine pilot scheme of 2011 the proposal clearly states the following :

The provision of fully verified counter data is essential to this analysis and for future catch advice and it is essential that this is quality controlled to ensure a high degree of confidence in the figures being generated.

The IFI in the letter below state that :

The count data for the river Maine is classified as unverified.

So we have it in writing that the data is unverified and the fishery has gone against scientific advice. The catch data is next on the agenda. AIE and Complaint requests have gone in but they have replied now stating that only one individual at the marine institute has the authority to get the actual data from the river Maine Fish counter. Unfortunately he is on leave so it will be a while until they can access that.
