So can someone please tell me why TEEGOS are using inaccurate data to calculate the conservation limits of individual rivers? Why are people not causing uproar over this? In the IFI Salmon and Trout catch figures released a few days ago they say, that on the river laune in 2022 248 salmon were caught and released but on the TEEGOS data 950 salmon were caught and released. The problem here is the TEEGOS figures are the ones used in the conservation of Salmon. It also must be added that the counter figures for the Maine are not accurate either. Now nobody is saying their is no fish in the rivers! I am catching salmon and so are others but if we are paying a department 32 million per year to conserve Salmon do people not at least expect accurate data? We need to get this right!
